Vaquita

October 2008 Pancho Villa and its crew were recruited to search for the Vaquita Marina dolphin. This is a highly endangered mammal as there are only about 150 in existence. A group of 30 scientists came to San Felipe from all over the world to get a chance to find and photograph these beautiful dolphin. We are excited to announce that we found the Vaquita Marina in the Sea of Cortez. Learn more about these beautiful mammals and how we can protect them from extinction.
